SPOKESMAN & FUNDRAISING CHAIR 2017-2020

Donating three years of my life to the Bob Mizer Foundation was an unforgettable experience. Creating bold, eye-catching videos as a spokesman was a lot of work, but it was all part of the mission. Spreading the legacy of Bob Mizer felt like a dream come true. During my time with the Foundation, I helped raise over $45,000 to restore, protect, and digitize Mizer's film archives, securing these invaluable works for future generations.

To me, Bob Mizer is on the same level as Walt Disney. His genius deserves to be celebrated as the creative force he was. What many don’t know is that Mizer was a true pioneer. He fought—and won—numerous battles in the Supreme Court during the '40s and '50s, victories that paved the way for queer artists today. Most importantly, he reshaped the very definition of art.
