Donating three years of my life to the Bob Mizer Foundation was an unforgettable experience. As a spokesperson, I created bold, eye-catching videos—work that was both demanding and deeply meaningful, all in service of the mission. Helping preserve and share Bob Mizer’s legacy felt like a dream realized.

During my time with the foundation, I helped raise over $45,000 to restore, protect, and digitize Mizer’s film archives, ensuring these invaluable works are preserved for future generations.

To me, Bob Mizer stands alongside Walt Disney—an undeniable creative force whose genius deserves wider recognition. What many people don’t realize is that Mizer was also a true pioneer. Through a series of legal battles in the 1940s and ’50s, he helped challenge censorship laws, paving the way for greater freedom of expression for queer artists today.

Most importantly, he redefined what art could be.
